Happy eek!

Thank you so much to everyone who performed, donated prizes, helped on the night and came along to Erotic Meet’s first Birthday PARTY!

I’ve been trying to write this post for some time now… There was just so much fabulous stuff happening on the night of Friday 1st June, it’s not so easy to put the celebrations into justifiable words.

We had an incredible line-up of performers – erotic poets, burlesque and cabaret stars! – each having some connection to Erotic Meet over the last year. We had an exhibition of Holly Revell’s erotic photography. We had the wonderful Mario of ‘Someone Once Told Me’ capturing our unique beauty throughout the night. We had over £400.00 worth of prizes to be won. And we had 100 creative people from all over the UK and across the globe – France, Belgium, Holland, Australia – to share the night with!

For me it was a celebration of success. The success that the past year has brought individual writers and artists and the success that Erotic Meet has had in bringing these creative people together through monthly events which has led to many more successes and best of all, friendships.

And straddle me did we celebrate!

The velvety cocktail bar, Green Carnation, filled up early with friends and soon to be friends. I want to mention everyone because you all put a massive smile on my face – there’s just too many of you though so I hope you’ll accept my virtual group hug!

The first prize of many was drawn in the sexy leg circle, with one new proud owner of the game, Tease.

After an undisclosed number of drinks and a lot of face kisses, we took to the stage. I was hosting and honestly, I was a little nervous. I’m OK in front of Erotic Meeters, whether I’ve met you yet or just about to, you’re all fabulous, accepting people that I can quite happily fall over in front of and laugh at the silly face that I pull on the way down. There was a camera crew here though and a couple of journalists and well, when it comes to talking about Erotic Meet and the performers that were about to excite the audience, I was aware that I could ramble on for hours, days even… either that or I’d just let out a squeak and sit down.

I’m not entirely sure which way I bent on the night. Not because of the wine (this time) simply because all of the acts were so, so hot and so much fun, anything that I might have said is a blur.

Author note. Ah, just thought… thank goodness the TV crew were there to record all of my possible fuck ups.




Luckily, I was wearing this gorgeous little number from Velvet Affair so it was very hard not to feel sexy.

Moving on… The first erotic poet of the night was The Dragon Kings Daughter, the Queen of Filthy Mouths, a founding member of Erotic Meet, a true talent and friend. She performed perfectly, rolling conversational speech into her poetry with ease and looked utterly gorgeous in her red corset suit!







The second naughty word-smith was globe trotting, award winning, Velvet Tongue host, Ernesto Sarezale. He’s the gent that the TV crew were following for a programme about how to talk dirty and he was fantastic! The loveable poet led us beautifully through tales of naughtiness and composed himself and amused the audience when the ‘warning, please vacate the building’ alarm sounded.

I blame the queen for hitting the fire alarm to jump the bar (there was a cabaret full of fabulously adorned folk in the bar upstairs – I particularly enjoyed seeing a nun wander out of our party looking confused before working out that there was another floor to the venue.)

From giggling to whooping, More Moorita took her bondage burlesque act into the crowd, teasing members of the audience to take her chain after proving that she was not a lady to be messed with!







Moorita’s voice is amazing! As is her act and she washed me with wonder before excitement, laughter and an utter respect for her talent.




Speaking of respect, the next burlesque act to wow us was Voodoo Fury. She is another genuinely beautiful person that I’ve had the pleasure of meeting this year and this was the first time I’d seen her perform. Stunning. She crawled onto the stage with such elegance, ripped the head of a snake, spraying the audience with glitter and wiggled her hips in such a way that left my (and I’m sure others) jaws on the floor.



















Phew!

With the first half drawing to a close, we all caught up – with each other and the bar – and I wandered down to the VIP area to take a look around Holly Revell’s Erotic DARKROOM Encounters exhibition. Her work is still up for any one who has not yet seen this lady’s photography.




The images were taken at an Erotic Meet workshop over Easter and now hang on the walls where they were taken. They’re gorgeous on so many levels. One, because they just are. Physically I mean, just beautiful to look at. Two, because it reminds me of a very sexy weekend when these were taken. Three, they come to life when viewed with a torch. So the ‘still’ photographs almost emulate the experience of creating them, which you can find out more about here.







A few more giggles later and it was back to the candle lit stage.










I welcomed More Moorita back and this time, yet another unique act was revealed.
I’m giving nothing away… You work it out. Then track her down and watch her perform.

Writer, Performer and Muse, specialising in Love, Light and Lust rocked it! With her sexy web related act, Rubyyy Jones had us wiggling and giggling in our seats as she did the same on stage.

Eastend Cabaret are the sexiest, funniest duo alive!



They gave us a new rendition of Erotic Meet’s favourite song, Danger Wank, they popped all of our ribs with Ping Pong and strolled into the audience where Bernadette Bryne may have flirted shamelessly – did I detect a touch of jealousy from Victor Victoria? I’m sure I heard a few notes of discomfort whilst the saw was being played… Or did I?

And it didn’t end after the show, oh no… I had the whole night ahead to get squify and have fun with new and good friends. Thank you all so much for such a sexy, fabulous evening! -x-

It was fabulous to see all of the gorgeous faces again at Erotic Meet on Friday!

This month there were even more new folk than ever and the night felt like one of our earlier Meets, giggling and gossiping on the sexy circle sofa.

The delicious Flirty Bertie plus Ishtars Revenge, along with her gorgeous friends were some of the first through the door and after reading Ishtars recently uploaded work which could spark controversial debate on the subject of consent – and after not having had the time to comment on it yet on Erotic Meet – it was refreshing to chat openly about rape in literature. It was also the perfect conversation starter for a group of mixed media professionals!

I had the pleasure of being intriduced for the very first time to this lot too: The HOT fire trained Red Sarah, the fun fun FUN Diva Hollywood and Steve Darling, the simply stunning Debutante Dilettante, the charming Nickajordan plus his beautiful lady, the sexy crazy sexiness that is DaddysBangGirl and yes IslandB_I_G too… And I know I’m going to miss someone and I’m only at the beginning of the night!

Erotic artists Fuschia and Shay Shay brought a new lovely with them too. I’m not sure what name she’d like here though so I’m going to call her ‘L’ and ‘L’ was the winner of some hot prizes including the game Tease – hot off the press! – and a ticket for two to the World Burlesque Games… Tonight!

We also had a newbie to the stage. After a powerful performance by the man who makes my knees dirty, Friday AM and some sultry, seated and truly sexy story telling from The Artful J, the gentleman (if he is indeed a gentleman) S P Howarth aired and graced us with lots of perfectly worded filth. Innocent Loverboy was a gem as ever, he really is an angel disguised as a very naughty boy (or is that the other way around?) Plus to finish the set of smut on stage was the incredibly funny and yummy Ernesto Sarezale of the Velvet Tongue. Phew!

The prizes were drawn. A massive thank you to Sh! Erotic Emporium, to TENGA Global, to Chaz Royal and to Tease Matt! Oh and Domsigns, you have a collection to make

The music went up, the banter continued and it really was so much fun to spend the night amongst so many beautiful and talented people!

Special thanks to the all round super stars Harper Elliot and Captain Nick for your help on the night!

And on to the After Party.

Now usually you might just sneak a few comments here and there between a bunch of us. Today I get to reveal a smidgen about… Tease!

Tease is the game invented, designed and created by the lovely Tease Matt.

The night was silly and fun and rude in a good way! We took turns to wander around the board giving and taking – oo-er – dares and clothes and drinks and kisses.

In the words of John, who wasn’t there, it was “mega classic win awesometastic” and I think somehow he’s summed it up.

I also got to wear Matt’s pants and I went home with my own knickers, both of which I consider a bonus!

AND I got sleep! Haha, well a couple of hours there and a couple more at home which equates to my average night full and so I felt fresher than ever for the following day’s Erotic Writers Meet!

NB. Will tally up the Writers Meet asap too… Lots of lunch, great company and really useful info made for the perfect Saturday. Enjoy the night!
